I am not getting recordings.

If the list of all recordings is showing recordings but you are getting pictures of the SAMi camera instead of the recordings check that Settings -> Enable Automatic Recording Transfers is on. If it is and you are still not getting recordings being transferred then it is possible the Wi-Fi connection is having problems. Check Settings-> Camera Settings -> Camera Wi-Fi and make sure the Wi-Fi quality is reported as Good or Excellent.

If you are not getting any new recordings in “Recordings -> Recordings on SAMi camera SD card” try the following:

  1. Check that Settings -> Camera Settings -> Record Mode is set to “Motion Only” or “Everything”

  2. If the Record Mode is set to “Motion Only” check that Settings -> Camera Settings -> Record Threshold is between 10% and 20%.

  3. Check that Settings -> Camera Settings -> Record Schedule is correct.

    • To test, set Schedule 1 to Enabled, All Day, Every day selected (all the buttons should be green).

    • Set Schedule 2, 3, and 4 to disabled.

  4. Check that Settings -> Camera Settings -> SD Card is not reporting “Missing!”

    • If it is unplug the camera, pop the SD card out then back in and plug the camera back in.

    • If the SD Card is still reported as missing try a different SD card.

  5. Choose Settings -> Camera Settings -> SD Card -> Format. This might resolve the problem.
