Every SAMi Camera, Router Kit, and Complete Kit is built using 256-bit AES encryption and includes the option to add additional password protection.

The SAMi Router Kit and Complete Kit have the advantage of the SAMi Secure Router, which is both optimized for SAMi, and creates an offline closed monitoring environment. This means unless you turn on remote monitoring, the live video feed and recordings are facilitated entirely within your home. A SAMi Camera using a SAMi Router cannot be accessed remotely unless the person is physically on-site.

Any SAMi Camera supports multiple iOS devices. The SAMi Secure Router (included in Router Kit and Complete Kit) supports up to 4 apple devices monitoring at the same time. WIth home Wi-Fi, this depends on your internet quality. We recommend not running more than 2 at the same time on home Wi-Fi.

The SAMi Secure Router (included in Router Kit and Complete Kit) enables up to 1000 sq ft of coverage. Generally we recommend placing the SAMi Camera within 40 feet of the SAMi Router. We then recommend the apple device remain within 60 feet of the SAMi Router. This can vary slightly depending on your home environment.

Remote Monitoring
You can also monitor remotely by connecting the SAMi Camera to your Home Wi-Fi network. This allows you to monitor from anywhere in the world, as long as you have cell service or access to Wi-Fi.

Yes! You can bring SAMi to the next room, or bring it when traveling. If you do not own the SAMi Router though, you will need access to the Wi-Fi router at your destination for setup

Local Storage (Camera + apple device):
Your most recent 5000 minutes of recordings are saved to a micro SD card (included!) within the SAMi Camera. This SD card can be easily removed if you wish to transfer recordings direclty to your computer using a card reader.

These recordings are then automatically transfered to the SAMi app on your apple device anytime the app is running and can be easily saved, locked, or shared directly from within the app!

Optional Cloud Storage:
We also support automatically transfering recordings to your iCloud or Dropbox account

Yes but you can only remain connected to one Camera at a time so monitoring two cameras from a single apple device isn't possible. You'll need one apple device per camera to monitor at the same time. 

All purchases come with a 1 year manufacturer's warranty.

No - SAMi Camera and Kit owners have lifetime access to our monitoring software and services 

Generally no. You may be eligible for reimbursement depending on your situation and plan but most of the time movement detection devices like ours are not covered. Disability / government waivers seem to have more success.
