Sami — About Us
Our Story

Built by a family,
for every family

Sami began in a Colorado bedroom in 2009, born from a parent's fear and a father's determination. Today it helps thousands of families sleep with confidence.

How It Started

When James started having seizures, we couldn't sleep

We tried mattress monitors, wearables, baby monitors — nothing worked reliably enough. We were running on fumes, afraid of what we might miss in the night.

So Charles — an engineer by trade — built one himself. The first Sami ran on a laptop. It was rough, but it worked. And for the first time in months, we all slept.

"Sami has made a big difference in our lives. We hope it will do the same for yours."

In 2012, we entered the Epilepsy Therapy Project's inaugural Shark Tank competition — and won. That moment transformed a family tool into something we could share with the world.
