Why we don't do Black Friday Sales
Many of you have asked if we’ll be offering holiday discounts. The short answer is no, and here’s why:
SAMi was born in our home, as parents trying to keep our son with epilepsy safe at night. We’re a family-owned company, and every decision we make starts with one question: “What would we want another family in our situation to have?”
For us, that means keeping SAMi as affordable as we possibly can, every day of the year, and not just for a weekend in November. Big flash sales just aren’t something we can offer without raising prices the rest of the year, and we don’t feel good about that.
Instead, we focus on making SAMi accessible in ways that actually work for families.
HSA/FSA Funds
Here are some ways families use their HSA/FSA benefits with SAMi:
HSA/FSA cards at checkout: You can use your HSA or FSA card directly on our website.
Need to split payment? If you’d like to use an HSA/FSA card for part of your order and a personal card for the rest, click the link below, and we’ll help process it.
Important: Every plan is different, and many require a Letter of Medical Necessity. Please reach out to your HSA/FSA provider so you know exactly what they need from you and your clinician.

Medicaid Waviers, Grants, & Financing/Installments
Beyond HSA/FSA, there are a few other ways families reduce the cost of SAMi:
Medicaid Waivers: Some families are able to use state Medicaid waiver programs, depending on where they live and their specific situation. If you are looking to purchase with a Medicaid Waiver, please visit our funding guide linked below to see which states this is possible in.
Partner Foundations: There are generous organizations that may help cover the cost of SAMi when finances are a barrier.
