While you can pay for SAMi with FSA / HSA funds, we're generally not covered by health insurance (unless you're in Australia, then you're in luck!). The only times we've seen people in the US and UK receive coverage was on a reimbursement basis. That may change in the future, but for now with the exception of a handful of medicare / medicaid programs and special insurance plans, going this route isn't a very straight forward process.

Luckily, there are device grant programs available to people in need of financial aid. This funding guide provides a list of charities you may qualify for assistance though.
